Brian O'Sullivan

Brian O’Sullivan formed The O’Sullivan Group, Inc. in February 1999 to serve health care providers with managed care and provider business development services.  Over the years The O’Sullivan Group has also been sought out by Medicare Advantage and Managed Medicaid plans to assist with network development needs. His vision for The O’Sullivan Group, Inc. was to bring real world know how by offering the same level of service and expertise for both large and small companies that are enjoyed by major Fortune 1000 organizations. This vision is shared by our team of professionals servicing all types of health care organizations.

Overview

Brian O’Sullivan is a seasoned industry professional and prior to forming The O’Sullivan Group,  worked as Vice President Business Development, Marketing & Managed Care for an integrated hospital and physician organization, and all types of payor environments including – Commercial Insurance, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid Acute, DD, Long Term Care, Tribal/Indian Health, and Workers Compensation, Behavioral Health and Specialty Pharmacy.

Brian leads all client development activities and lead client engagement in the following areas:

  • managed care contracting
  • payor relations
  • business development
  • program development
  • marketing / advertising
  • physician relations, medical staff and investor solicitation
  • Medicare/Medicaid provider network development

Mr. O’Sullivan has over thirty years of experience, working for both payors and providers.  He is a skilled and passionate communicator, presenter and negotiator.  He is very solutions and outcomes oriented.

Brian is a member of the Arizona Health Care Association (AzHCA), Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), and the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA).

Brian is currently a Board member of FSL (fka Foundation for Senior Living) and Catholic Community Foundation and an Advisory Board member to the Hertel Report.  He is a past Board Member/Co-President of First Way Pregnancy Center and has served on numerous advisory boards.

Brian holds a BS Degree in Health Care Administration and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA). He has been married since 1990 and has four daughters.
